The first day was very hectic, we went non-stop right after breakfast. Ms. Stokes took the group for class time where part of it included learning about London. We went on the Tube for the first time and saw: Westminster Abbey (from the outside), Big Ben, and Trafalgar Square. Little did we know that yesterday was World Pride! Right after lunch we wanted to go by Buckingham Palace but the whole square was suddnly crowded and we found ourselves watching the Pride parade!

In the evening we went to the Globe theatre and saw a performance of Henry V. We were standing in the pit area so it was a bit challenging for us all but we enjoyed it none the less!
